At the next Max users meetup @ STEIM there will be demos of a new device that simulates electronic tape techniques developed by Karlheinz Stockhausen in the late fifties. Later there will be problem solving with MaxDuino, interfacing Max and Max for Live with an Arduino. Feel free to bring your own projects too!

Friday, Nov 4th. The SOUND TRIANGLE collaboration between STEIM and LIG Art Hall continues with two workshops in the L-space, a large general purpose work room adjacent to the concert hall.
SOUND TRIANGLE DAY 3 / Concert 1
The first concert night at LIG theater featured 5 Korean musicians playing solo and in collaboration with STEIM artists. Hankil RYU, Chulki Hong and Swaan CHE played solo sets and Joonyong CHOI and Byungjun KWON each played with Alex Nowitz and Hans W. Koch.

SOUND TRIANGLE Amsterdam x Seoul Experimental Music Exchange started with a gracious welcoming by our partner LIG Arts Foundation.
LIG Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization identifies , supports and presents emerging and under-recognized artists basing in performing arts and/or interdisciplinary arts, as works as serves as a faithful producing partner for more established artists to take their creative risks. It also assists and produces international exchanging programs such as collaborative studies or performances. Having its main post at LIG Art Hall, 170 seat black-box theater in Seoul, LIG Arts Foundation has enlarged its activities for the local communities in the other part of Korea by launching, in April 2011, a new 300 black-box theater in Busan, the second biggest city located on the sound coast of Korea.
